Cable Runner

Cable Runner is a minimalist network-building tycoon. You're the city's connection — every house, office and data-hungry client wants to reach its provider, and it's your job to wire them up.

Drag cables across the grid to connect each colored building to a provider of the same color. But routing matters: shorter cables cost less and keep the ping low. Let a connection lag too long and the client starts beeping, flashes red, and drops after 30 seconds — taking its income with it.

As demand grows, expand your network. Run out of ports? Buy Hubs, Switches and Fiber from the shop, bend cables around obstacles, and keep the whole grid humming. Earn rewards along the way — instant cash, double income, ping reduction, free cables and extra ports — and push your network as far as it'll go.

Controls

- LMB a building, then LMB another — lay a cable between them

- While drawing, Shift — flip the cable's bend (corner) direction

- LMB a cable's corner handle — flip an existing cable's bend

- RMB — cancel the cable you're drawing

- Delete Mode (toolbar) + LMB — remove a cable, or sell a bought building; RMB to exit

- Hover a building — info card (name, status, ports, IP, ping, connections)

- Space — pause / resume (toolbar also has fast-forward)

- Esc — pause menu (resume, options, quit)
